Every Tifio coordinator undergoes a police verification background check before joining. They wear a branded Tifio uniform and carry a laminated photo ID card at all times during their route.

Schools receive the coordinator's full name, photo, verification number, and a copy of their ID before the pilot begins. The same person operates the same school route every day — no rotating strangers.

Tifio operates a strict gate-only protocol. Our coordinator arrives at the school gate at the agreed handover time and transfers all tiffins to the school's designated gate staff — exactly as a parent would.

Our staff do not enter the campus, do not go to classrooms or corridors, and do not interact directly with students. The school controls all distribution from that point.

Every tiffin is printed with a QR label showing the student's full name, class, section, and dietary flags. Our app scans the QR at pickup and again at gate handover, creating a complete digital chain of custody.

Parents receive an automated delivery confirmation the moment the gate scan is recorded. Delivery logs are stored securely and available to parents and school administration on request.

All tiffins travel in sealed, food-grade insulated carriers that maintain temperature from collection to delivery. Each carrier is dedicated to a single route — tiffins from different families are never mixed.

Carriers are sanitised after every use following our documented hygiene SOP. No carrier is used without completing the cleaning checklist.

When parents register, they can record any dietary requirements, allergies, or medical notes. These are stored securely and printed on the QR label of every tiffin so school staff can immediately see them.

Since the family cooks and packs every meal, they retain full control over every ingredient. Tifio's role is to ensure the flag is visible and documented at every handover point.

Tifio is registered with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) as a food delivery and handling business. Our registration number is available on request and displayed in our footer.

Tifio carries transit and liability insurance covering our delivery operations. In the unlikely event of a delivery incident, we have clear documented processes and insurance cover in place. Documentation is available to schools on request.

We collect only the information needed to operate the service: the child's name, class, section, school, dietary notes, and parent contact details. This data is encrypted at rest, accessible only to authorised Tifio staff, and never sold or shared with any third party.

Parents can request a copy of their data or request deletion at any time. We comply with applicable Indian data protection law.
