🏫 For school administrators

A safe, school-supervised way for families to send hot home food.

Tifio is designed to work withyour school's food and safety policies — not around them. We operate gate-only, ask nothing of school staff beyond a standard gate handover, and provide full documentation of every delivery.

Home food. Not junk food.

Many schools have banned food-delivery apps — and rightly so. Those services deliver restaurant meals and junk food onto campus, undermining your nutrition and safety standards.

Tifio is the opposite. We deliver only the food a family has cooked at home, in the tiffin they packed themselves. We actively support your home-food policy.

Think of us as a modern, verified, app-tracked version of a parent dropping off their child's lunchbox at the gate — except systematised, insured, and handled by a known face every day.

Banned apps

  • Commercial restaurant food
  • Random delivery riders
  • Campus entry attempted
  • No documentation

Tifio

  • Family's own home-cooked food
  • Single verified coordinator
  • Gate-only, never campus entry
  • Full digital delivery log

Designed so principals can say yes.

Every element of our operation was designed with school security and administration in mind.

Police-verified, uniformed coordinator

One dedicated, background-verified coordinator per school. They wear a Tifio uniform and carry a photo ID card. School staff will recognise them within days.

Gate-only handover — no campus entry

Our coordinator hands over all tiffins to your designated gate staff in one batch. No entering the campus, no going to classrooms, no interacting with students directly.

QR traceability on every tiffin

Each tiffin is QR-labelled with the student's name, class, and section. Handovers are digitally logged with timestamps. Full records available on request.

Insurance & compliance documentation

We carry transit and liability insurance. We are FSSAI registered. All documentation is available for school records and parent communication.

What Tifio asks of your school

Permission for a daily gate handover

Exactly as you'd allow a parent to drop off a lunchbox at the gate. One batch handover per day, at a time that suits your gate schedule.

A designated gate contact

One staff member who receives the tiffins at the gate and distributes them. This is typically the gate supervisor or a peon — no extra workload.

A brief introduction to parents

A short note in the school app or newsletter letting interested families know the pilot is available. No endorsement required — just awareness.

Zero financial commitment

The pilot is completely free for the school. There are no fees, no contracts, and no obligations. You can withdraw from the pilot at any time.
